  What's The Worst TV Program ?

  I like Two Broke Girls. I like their joke deliveries. It's a style from the 1950s. Sort of along the lines of George and Gracie. It is not the finniest show, but I like it when I am in chill mode and I just want to see boobies and a few laughs and a little distraction. I have a very good ability for suspention of disbelief. Any movie, play, TV show or music I can pretty much submerge myself into that world and ignore the impossible situations, unlikely turn of events, repetitive back-drops etc. I watch to enjoy not to pick at them. I hate watching movies with people who say, "Oh that could never happen! That's impossible! Oh yeah right, like she's just going to take him back!.. and all that sh1t. So it's a hard question for me to answer. I like most movies and most TV shows. I am a music snob though.

  Worst TV show on now? I really hated 24. I know it's not on anymore, thank God. But I just could never get into it. So 24 is my answer.

  I think the confusion is that there are two separate prophecies being mixed together here: the prophecy that the generation that was born before 1914 would not die until Armageddon occurs and the other prophecy of 1919 which stated that millions then living in 1919 would never die. In any case, 2014 is an obviously important date because it is 100 years after 1914 and none of the things the WT said about it have even come true and all of the people who were alive in 1914, except for possibly a few Peruvians, are dead, Jim, dead.

  And, if we did the research we'd probably find that there are not 2 millions at least people alive today that were alive in 1919 when the words were first spoken.

  Well, I think that it may have been just after 1914 when it was first said and applied the way it has been. 1918 or 1919 possibly. But hopefully some of the scholars here will have a link right ready.

  Tonight I celebrate a personal milestone...my 1000 post. Now the big decision...chocolate or extra alcohol or both

  yeah i know its taken me almost 5 years to reach 1000 post and many of you get that in a few months.. but i do take long extended breaks from the forums (especially in summer months for sun an fun).. i've seen where others had made a thread on celebrating this particular point of being a member on here and thoguht well that sounds fun so i will too.. plus considering how close we are to the "end of this present wicked system of things", and that it was going to happen any day now, and right around the corner, i figured i'd not make it long enough to hit 1000 post.

  anyways hope this post finds all of you out there in good health, with plenty of wealth and enjoying your life to its fullest.

  I tried a chocolate wine recently that I thought would be horrible, but I was wrong. It was wonderful. I found that even when I drank a lot of it I would not get sick or sick of it. Can't remember the brand but the whole bottle was worth the price, which was less than 20 bucks, so even that part of it wasn't bad. So both.

  Welcome captain. It sounds to me like your brain is definitely working, so I don't see any reason why you should call yourself stupid or whatever. All the greatest intellectuals in history have one thing in common, they have the intellect, the balls, the guts and the humility to simply say, "I DON'T KNOW." It's the moronic apologists that go around wagging their cocks in everyone's faces like they know everything that are the real asses and dumb and ignorant and stupid and arrogant. So, great that you are modest and smart enough to know that you don't know and man enough to admit it. Kudos, you are on your way to your destiny.

  100 Years of Disappointment on the Horizon

  even as an elder, i had doubts as to this being "the one true religion".

  i personally had chosen 2014 as one of those "make or break" dates.

  fortunately, i left years ago.

  There will always be a new date to move everything up to. We haven't even begun to see the time of the end moved up. They could suddenly say that 607 was bogus and therefore change 1914 to 1934 just like that. That gives them 20 extra years to fool around with.

  Let's see. Then they could say that 1975 really was something after all and the beginning of the last days started then. Finding scriptural support is always possible, in fact that is the easy part. Then they could say 1914 was 100 years off and 2014 is the new date. There is 100 years right there. People would buy it no problem.

  We could just go on and on and on. The possibilities are endless. The new dates and putting it further down the road are endless.
